This afternoon I was forced on to one of those courses that you just wonder why we even bother. This is one of my favourite routes along waterways throughout. Firstly the Nottingham Canal, then the River Trent and finally along the entire navigable length of the Erewash Canal. I did it today on foot and it came in at just over 22 miles.
This a great walk especially on a sunny day with stunning views throughout. At 20 miles it’s quite long but there are options to shorten it.
