I’m Walking but it’s Muddy

I swear this time last year, and the year before that, and the year before that, it was much sunnier, warmer and drier than it is now. A fortnight ago I went walking in what I can only describe as a quagmire. In the end we resorted to a 3 mile road walk to get us back to the car. Just so you can see how miserable it was here’s a link to the you tube video: Link here

This weekend was a little better because we chose to walk along some of the old colliery railway lines in Nottinghamshire; however, the second we strayed from what would have been the stone bed under the rails, it soon became wet. Here’s a link to the drier sunnier but still a bit damp version: Link here

So what’s the point in telling you it’s very muddy in the British countryside in March? Well the answer is, there is no point but now I’ve got it off my chest I feel much better……LOL. Don’t worry I’m the same this time every year. The winter’s too long in the UK and I’ve run out of vitamin D.
